Bulgarian Constructors have to build on what’s left
According to figures released by Bulgaria’s construction chamber, only 75% of construction companies that were in business at the beginning of 2009 are still going.
The value of real estate in Bulgaria is subject to the many mixed messages the market is receiving. Whilst a 25% drop in authorised construction businesses sounds a lot, it has to be borne in mind that the current economic downturn has been the worse seen in almost living memory, & the greater majority of developers are succeeding.
An expansive approach to Business park & supermarket construction is constantly improving neighbourhoods and facilities, all in readiness for the market recovery.
However, it seems hard to remain positive when recent figures show declining orders as interest dries up for investment property in Bulgaria. 2010 is viewed as an impending year of intense competition for the building trade.
With the current struggle to find investment and buyers, Bulgaria may well prove to be a gem amongst the stones when it comes to looking for bargains over the next 12 months.
