Canada a good buy for exclusive property
A recent survey on global property markets points to Canada as a fine example for affordable properties in the executive style market.
The survey, conducted by Coldwell Banker, was centred on a classic desirable four bedroom executive style property and was researched through thirty countries worldwide. Results showed that while such a property would cost over a million and a quarter dollars in Vancouver the same type could be purchased for less than $300,000 in several other places throughout Canada including Halifax.
When you compare this type of real estate property with places such as La Jolla, California (average cost more than $2.12 million) and Singapore (almost $2 milliion) then Canada can be considered a comparative bargain.
It seem that although real estate prices in Canada have been creeping back up recently the extraordinary low interest rate available today ensure homeownership is still achievable to the majority of buyers.
