Careful buyers 'can find the perfect home in Bulgaria'

Blue skies, sun and wonderful cheap properties make
Bulgaria a favourite for those in the market for a new home - but buyers must take care, a report suggests.
According to Quest
Bulgaria property magazine, older property in Bulgaria can be particularly appealing with its charming appearance and low prices.
However, the report advises that buyers should take several precautions to ensure that they get their dream home - rather than approaching the transaction with "rose-tinted glasses".
These include having all documents translated in order to help avoid any problems arising from the language barrier and not being afraid to put questions to agents.
Thorough research and the appointment of an independent lawyer are also fundamental to the buying process, as well as ensuring that renovations on older buildings do not cost more than first anticipated, the report suggests.
Bulgaria has recently seen a rise in popularity amongst British buyers looking to offset the effects of the weakening pound by purchasing homes in cheaper locations, a report by Hargreaves Lansdown Currency Service revealed.
