Cheap prices 'will lure people to property in Bulgaria'

A fall in the cost of staying in accommodation abroad, such as property in
Bulgaria, may spur people to travel more, a sector expert asserts.
Robert Bernard, a partner at PKF responsible for hotel consultancy, says the recent fall in costs indicates that owners of commercial property in Bulgaria are pricing even more competitively to attract interest.
"That is good news for travellers. Hopefully that will spur on travellers to come," he explains.
Another factor may be whether exchange rates are favourable or not, Mr Bernard comments, as many people have been to places with the euro, such as
France, and found the destination to be quite expensive.
This would not be a factor for people travelling to stay in property in Bulgaria, however, as the national currency is still the leva.
The specialist's comments come after a recent report by Trivago revealed that the averages cost of staying at accommodation in Europe has fallen by seven per cent compared with last year.
