Commercial property in Bulgaria 'getting cheaper'

Owners of commercial property in
Bulgaria are decreasing their rates in order to entice more people, an expert asserts.
A spokesman for the travel portal trivago said many companies providing commercial property in Bulgaria have realised that people have less to spend on overseas accommodation during the recession.
As a result, they are decreasing prices in order to appeal to cost-conscious travellers, meaning many potential bargains are on offer, he added.
"The trivago hotel price index for July shows that hotel prices throughout Europe have not been following the yearly trends this summer," the representative commented.
Those who own commercial property in Bulgaria will see increased occupancy rates thanks to the reductions, the specialist asserted.
According to the company's price index, European hotel prices are seven per cent cheaper in comparison to July 2008, with those in the largest cities, such as
Sofia, decreased by up to 25 per cent.
