French developer delivers on demand
Due to an increase in sales enquiries for tourist homes in the French Alps, French property developer MGM plans to construct hundreds of leaseback ski apartments.
Val Cenis, near to the Italian border, is a new development site for the company sits amid two national parks and will be home to almost 200 apartments. The first properties will be available for use within two years. Other areas in France to be developed are Flaine, which is being hailed as a flagship for the company's aims to produce sustanable housing incorporating reduced energy consumption, as well as Alpe d'Huez and Tignes.
Richard Deans from the UK sales office is certain that UK buyers, who historically are responsible for purchasing 25% of the homes sold every year through the MGM Company, will continue their love affair with the ski resorts. MGM has earned an excellent reputation for building high quality and well designed properties and has several ongiong developments due for completion before the end of the year.
