Metro link 'may entice buyers to purchase property in Dubai'

The construction of a new metro link in the
United Arab Emirates is likely to entice potential buyers of a
property in Dubai, according to one expert.
When finished, the train link will connect the Mall of the Emirates with the new station in
Dubai, providing those who live in the city with a substantial transport upgrade.
Fuad Sharaf, vice president at Mall of the Emirates, said the new link will prove to be an alluring addition to the city, which may boost sales of property in Dubai.
"We have a direct link from the Mall of the Emirates metro station and a new bus stop that is expected to have 150 buses stopping at it during peak hours serving the local area," he explained.
In other news, developer IFA Hotels and Resorts recently announced that it generated over $100 million (£61 million) in sales in the first half of 2009.
