More real estate for your £s in Florida, USA
If you are looking to buy a holiday home in the US, Florida is the place to go.
Florida real estate is showng great signs of recovery from the worldwide meltdown experienced during the recession. A huge fall in the availability of homes for sale is contributed by the cessation of new constructions plus a rise in demand. Rather than beginning new projects developers have been cutting prices of existig new homes, up to three quarters in some cases.
One Agent who has witnessed great activity in the last six months believes property values are probably as low as they will go. He recommends that buyers n the UK are well placed to snap up a bargain with the pound gaining strength relative to the dollar. Six months ago a US home with a value of $60,000 would have cost the British buyer £40,000, today that same property would cost just over £36,000 and that's quite a saving.
