Paris leading French property prices
French property prices have steadily been on the increase for more than a year and nowhere has that been more prevalent than in the nation’s capital city. In the last twelve months the cost of property in Paris has risen by an astonishing 22.5 per cent.
Real estate professional are pleasantly surprised at the speed with which property prices in Paris have increased – such large price increases have not been witnessed since the early 1990’s.
The average price per square metre of residential real estate in the city is just over 8,150 Euros the cheapest properties can be found in the 19th arrondissement where property can be purchased for around 6,350 Euro per square metre and the most expensive area to buy property in Paris is the 6th arrondissement where wealthy buyers will pay more than 11,650 per square metre.
High demand versus low stock supplies is expected to keep prices upwardly mobile in the near future.
