People 'willing to spend more money' on property in Bulgaria

People are now willing to spend more money on overseas accommodation, such as property in
Bulgaria, an expert asserts.
Jonathan Cudworth, head of product marketing at online travel specialist Expedia.co.uk, says the strength of the euro against the pound has prompted many people to look outside of the eurozone.
He says people are tending to travel further if it means their money will stretch more, which illustrates the attraction of staying at property in Bulgaria.
According to Mr Cudworth, one of the main factors for some people is the money they can save on items such as food and drink, where destinations further afield offer better value when exchange rates are taken into account.
In related news, Clare Nessling, operations director at overseas mortgage specialist Conti, recently said there has been a large increase in enquiries about property in Bulgaria.
