Property in Bulgaria 'becoming more affordable'

People looking for
property to buy in Bulgaria may find that now is the best time to invest, an expert claims.
Clare Nessling, operations director at overseas mortgage specialist Conti, says property in
Bulgaria and other European countries is currently experiencing a large increase in enquiries, despite the economic downturn.
According to the specialist, interest in overseas accommodation has risen by 20 per cent in recent weeks, with a significant number of quotes given out for mortgages on property in Bulgaria.
"The recent rate cut by the European Central Bank is helping to reinforce the general feeling of growing confidence amongst borrowers," Ms Nessling explains.
Falling prices of property in Bulgaria and on the continent is likely to attract Brits in particular who are looking for a bargain, the expert concludes.
In other news, UBM Aviation subsidiary OAG recently said carriers will continue selling seats during the economic downturn, as the late booking trend will ensure people continue to travel to stay in property in Bulgaria.
