Property in Dubai to give visitor 1m dirham prize

A commercial property in Dubai is promising to give one lucky visitor a AED 1 million prize (£169,000) simply for visiting the facility.

The month-long shopping extravaganza Festival@ the Dubai Mall has promised that all shoppers today will be entered into a prize draw to win the cash.

In addition, one other lucky visitor will win a Bentley Continental Flying Spur, which will make travelling from one property in Dubai to another even more glamorous.

Mr Nasser Rafi, chief executive of the Emaar Malls Group, says the event is one of the most unique mall-wide retail promotions ever undertaken in Dubai.

"The total cash prize package of AED 3.1m adds to the excitement of shopping. with visitors having the extensive choice of 900 retail stores including 160 food and beverage outlets," he explains.

As part of the celebrations, the commercial property in Dubai will also feature performances from 25 solo acts including jugglers, musicians, magicians and dancers.
