Property in Spain 'a home away from home'

Property in
Spain can act as a home away from home for people staying in the country, according to a sector expert.
Carmen Hernandez, market analyst at the Spanish Tourist Office in
London, says 90 per cent of the people who travel to property in Spain have already been there before, which illustrates the enduring popularity of the location.
"The links between both countries are undeniable and strong. They feel safe and secure there and they know they can communicate easily with people," she explains.
In addition, she states that being able to safely drive on roads in the country and having the best healthcare available are further reasons why people go to stay in property in Spain.
Trevor Davis, director of retail distribution at The Co-operative Travel, recently said the country is attempting to increase its appeal to younger travellers by showing them that "there's more to the country than sun and sangria".
