Property in Spain 'has something for everyone'

Property in
Spain is still worth investing in, even during the economic downturn, according to an expert.
Julia Norton, sales manager at the Champneys
Marbella resort on the Costa Del Sol, said that the country is still a major attraction to British investors, easier.com reports.
Ms Norton believes, however, that Britons are now exercising more caution when buying their Spanish homes, instead of just snapping up "cheap, entry-level properties".
She said Spain is an enduring market with "something for everyone", adding: "Britons have an affinity for this country and many still see it as a viable alternative to recession-hit
Britain."
Buyer demands for Spanish property are changing, with many now looking for "well-constructed, well-located" properties with good potential returns, according to Ms Norton.
Official data shows that
property prices in Spain have fallen 6.8 per cent in the first quarter of 2009 from a year earlier, meaning now could be a good time for potential buyers to invest.
