Property in Spain 'increasing in popularity'

Property in
Spain's Costa del Sol region is beginning to increase in popularity thanks to bargain discounts of up to 40 per cent, according to a sector expert.
Barbara Wood, the co-director of industry specialist Property Finders, told the Times that the Golden Mile near
Puerto Banus and
Marbella close to the Golf Valley are currently experiencing a boost in interest from overseas investors, she told the Times.
"Not even in the last recession of the 1990s have I seen so much quality in such numbers," she explained.
Some very large properties are available for prices previously thought impossible, including a four-bed villa with a ten-metre pool and sea views just behind Puerto Banus, which sold for less than €1 million (£872,000), the expert informed the publication.
In other news, Clare Nessling, operations director at Conti, recently said that reductions on property in Spain will increasingly appeal to investors as the pound gains ground on the euro.
