Rental property in Spain 'in great demand'

Demand for property in
Spain is outstripping supply in some instances as more people seek a place in the sun, one sector expert claims.
Les Calvert, director of Property Abroad, highlights recent statistics released by Spanish Property Insight which reveal that the average price of renting a 70 sq m home in the country fell to just £453 a month in June.
This is an indication that the time may be right for those looking to make the move to the Mediterranean to consider joining the race, he commented.
Mr Calvert added that areas such as
Zaragoza may be particularly appealing to those wishing to live in property in Spain, as figures show that some rental costs in the city have decreased by as much as 30 per cent.
The expert's comments come shortly after Sharron Livingston, editor at www.thetravelmagazine.net, pointed out that Spain has always been a top destination for people going abroad and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
