Smaller property in Bulgaria 'in demand'

There is likely to be an increase in demand for smaller property in Bulgaria this year, according to one sector specialist.

Nubrisks.com recently stated that people looking to move to a place in the sun may favour relocating to a smaller property in Bulgaria so they can manage two homes at the same time.

The website said that small residential complexes are likely to experience a surge in popularity as people who may have chosen to invest in a large home in the region see the merit in buying a less-expansive property so that their purchase is not as "high-profile".

James Gonzalez, market analyst at Obelisk, who finds the trend logical, told the firm: "In a changing market such as this, for every problem that might arise, so does a new opportunity. It is at times such as these that the most innovative minds come to the forefront."

Recently, industry magazine Quest stated that the ever-increasing lure of the country is likely to see a rise in the number of expats living in property in Bulgaria.
