Spanish property market attracts new buyers
Property prices in Spain are reflecting the best value for money in nearly ten years, according to some industry experts, and those interested in holiday property to buy in Spain are key players.
Values of property and property sales in Spain have seen a sharp decline in recent times with real estate locations such as the Costa del Sol seeing falls in the region of 40 percent or more. The over supply of property, in particular one and two bed apartments, together with the general economic downturn all fuelled the slide.
However, real estate consultants Assetz Spain, have recently reported a 150% increase in enquiries over the last quarter. But it hasn't been interest from the professional investor, instead it appears to be second home owners and the retired who are each seeking to pick up on holiday accommodation bargains, rather than long term investment potential.
