Travelling to property in Bulgaria 'should be rewarded'

Travelling to property in Bulgaria 'should be rewarded' People travelling to property in Bulgaria should be rewarded for frequent journeys, according to a sector specialist.

Richard Tams, head of UK and Ireland sales at British Airways, says airlines should recognise loyalty by offering schemes which lead to discounted future flights.

This may then appeal to people making journeys to and from property in Bulgaria or those with family members who have moved to the country.

Mr Tams explains: "It is very important in this time to make sure the airline is maintaining the loyalty of individual travellers."

He adds that it is a "price-driven" market, but stresses that the quality of the product still matters, as does punctuality and innovation.

In other news, David Bishop, head of policy at the Airport Operators Association, recently said that airlines should be encouraging people to fly to property in Bulgaria ahead of the upcoming air passenger duty, as a better way of spending the money.
