UAE to see further growth

Ongoing economic problems across the world should not drastically inhibit growth in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This is the view of Business24-7, which said a slowdown in the Middle Eastern country over the next year is inevitable.

However, the media outlet has expressed optimism about the UAE's future prospects, as it believes it is well-placed to withstand external pressures.

Indeed, it said factors such as strong government backing for various projects should ensure that the economy continues to grow, albeit at a slightly reduced rate.

Commenting on possible future developments, Business24-7 stated: "UAE rates of economic growth will cool from recent double digits but could remain among the strongest in the world next year, if not indeed the strongest in the world."

This comes after the Daily Times has reported that Dubai's "booming economy" is helping it to attract a investors from places such as Europe and the US.
