Overview:
Not only does Pula have one of the loveliest stretches of beaches, bays and coves in all of Sardinia but the town of Pula is charm personified. The focus is a central square bordered by bars and cafes and with open-air performances during festivals. The buildings and streets are very well cared-for and will make for a charming visit.

The beach at Santa Margherita di Pula offers deep aqua waters and varied coastal landscape making it ideal for gentle strolls.

Porto d'Agumu is a very attractive beach perfect for swimming and with sparkling white sand. Twin watchtowers stand guard at either end of the beach, from which the archaeological excavations are visible.

The famous Chia dunes and watersports beaches are only a few kms away.

A short drive from Pula is Nora, the site of the Phoenician and Roman port and town built on a peninsular dominated by a Spanish tower (torre). A Roman amphitheatre faces the sea and is still used for performances during the summer music festival.
