Rila is the mountain with pure-clean lakes, where the springs of some of the deepest and longest rivers in Bulgaria are. There, at the foot of Moussala peak (2925 m) - the highest one on the Balkan Peninsula, huddles Borovets resort. Its name comes from the Bulgarian word “bor”, which stands for pine tree - old aged pine woods cover the place. Borovets was established in 1896.
Borovets is the biggest and oldest mountain resort in Bulgaria, situated at 1300 m. above sea level. It is also a modern all year round resort, with luxurious hotels, restaurants that offer international and traditional Bulgarian cuisine, bars where worldfamous Bulgarian wines can be tasted, night clubs and discos. Settled 73 km away from the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, and 126 km away from Plovdiv - the second largest city in the country, Borovets is easily accessible and it is a preferred place for holidays, tourism and sports. The climate is moderate and mild and winter is very snowy. The average temperature in January (the coldest month of the year) is about 4.8 C. The ski season usually spans from mid-December till April.
The resort provides excellent conditions for winter sports; there’s a range of ski runs with various length and difficulty, suitable not only for skiing, but also for snowboarding, ski jumping, biathlon, night skiing. The marked ski runs for alpine skiing have a total length of 58 km, the ski running ones - 35 km and are 6m wide. They are projected according to the requirements of the World Ski Federation. New ski runs and facilities are under construction. The resort hosted twice World Cup Skiing rounds and the biathlon track is one of the best in the world. Visitors who do not ski can enjoy organized trips to picturesque spots on the Rila Mountain like the Seven Rila Lakes, the famous Rila Monastery, Moussala peak, etc. They may also go riding or fishing, or visit King Ferdinand’s Residence in Borovets.
The Super Borovets project is going to be implemented in the next few years. The resort is expected to be developed as a holiday village with modern infrastructure, offering a rich variety of services, sports, and entertainments. Thus, Borovets will become the largest winter resort on the Balkans.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT PLAN
An apartment can be reserved with a reservatiion fee of EUR 1000 which is valid for 10-day term. On signing the preliminary agreement the reservation fee is deducted from the first payment. The reservation fee is non-refundable in case a preliminary agreement is not signed. The payment of the whole price shall be done according to the following payment plan:
First payment: 30% of the total sale price - within 14 days after signing the preliminary agreement; half of the sum shall be deemed as earnest money that guarantees the buyer’s obligation to sign the final agreement, this sum is non-refundable
Second payment: 40% of the total sale price - within 14 days after reaching ridge level of the building
Third payment: 20% of the total sale price - within 14 days after signing Protocol No15 (document evidencing the qualities of the construction) for the building.
Last payment: 10% of the total sale price - within 14 days after receiving a certificate for putting into exploitation of the building
Option: Buyers who pay 90% of the sale price on signing the preliminary agreement receive a 3% discount from the sale price
Term for completing the construction and signing the final agreement
The building will be finished up to ridge level in March 2008. The final agreement for the transfer of the ownership of the property by means of a Notary deed will be signed within two weeks after receiving the permission for the exploitation of the building.
Maintenance and management of the property
First class property management services will be provided by the seller. The annual service charge of EUR 7.5 per sq. m. will cover: cleaning and maintenance of the common areas of the building and the elevators, maintenance of the garden, common lighting and electricity as well as all other services connected with the common areas of Exclusive Ski & Spa Resort.
