Close to the village, archaeologists found the oldest settlement in Bulgaria dating back to 5 BC. The site is still a subject of archaeological excavations. There are also 2 dams and motocross above the village and tracks leading to the Byala reka (White River) and eco trails.

Sopot is 15kms from the village, the chair lift situated above the town leads to the take off point for Paragliders and leads to the walking trails on the mountain.
Also in the area is the famous spa resort of Hissar. Famous for it’s healing mineral waters, hotels and ruined fortress walls.
