On the ground floor there's an open plan living room (26m2 with corner kitchen, fireplace, wood-burning stove, wooden floor, ancient stone sink and access to the cellar), dining room (10.4m2 carpeted over floorboards), a bathroom (6.5m2 with WC) and a further living room (9.5m2) with wooden floor and stairs leading to the first floor.

On the first floor there's a landing (7.4m2 with carpeted floor, velux window and exposed beams), Bedroom 1 (15m2 with carpeted floor, exposed beams, velux window and sloping ceiling), Bedroom 2 (12.6m2 with carpeted floor, exposed beams, velux window, sloping ceiling and access to the loft space) and a shower room (6.2m2, with WC).

Nearby Châlus is as quaint, bustling and French as you could wish. T.E. Lawrence (later to become "Lawrence of Arabia") celebrated his 20th birthday in the Grand Hôtel du Midi in July 1908. He was cycling through the region trying to prove something about Richard the Lionheart's Crusade route, but his findings are rather suspect because the Crusaders didn't have bicycles.

There are 3 airports within easy reach (Limoges, Poitiers, La Rochelle) and the ferry port of St Malo is about 5 hours by car.
