Internally the restoration project has strived to conserve and re-use as much of the original materials as possible. The roof was completely replaced in 1999 but the original wooden beams and the mezzane terracotta tiles inbetween were conserved. The floors of the apartment on the first floor are made of terracotta. The windows are all made of wood and are completely new, having been replaced in 2000. The ground floor has not had all the final finishes added and is currently at ?builders finish?.
