The Farmhouse

Ceppeto is surrounded by old trees and overlooks its own small valley with a river below. Above is a ring of hills including the Massif of Monteluco with its long abandoned castle.

The Farmland

The Vineyards and Olive Groves of Ceppeto

The cultivated fields that surround the farmhouse are cultivated for wine grapes to produce the high-quality Chianti Classico DOCG ?Ceppeto? of the same name. Olive groves also surround the farmhouse, and are planted predominantly upon terrace separated by old stone walls and are used in production of organic DOP Chianti Classico Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The vendor has always worked with maximum respect for the environment and surrounding landscape and utilizes organic farming techniques.

Current production provides some 3500 bottles (750ml) of Chianti Classico DOCG and 1200 bottles (500 ml) of Chianti Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
