This converted barn has two small open courtyards and two very large covered courtyards.

House

The front door opens into a small, tiled entrance hall off which are a shower room, a WC and a small laundry room. The hall then opens into the main living room (50 sq m) with tiled floor, sitting, dining and kitchen areas and a pair of large patio doors that open into one of the covered courtyards.

At the far end of the living room a corridor provides access to the two bedrooms (17 sq m and 12 sq m).

Outside space

The patio doors from the living room open into a large covered courtyard (73 sq m) which at one end opens to the road (and the first section could therefore act as a garage). The other end opens into a small open courtyard. On the other side of this courtyard a door opens to a second large covered courtyard (110 sq m). From here another door opens to a second small open courtyard.

It should be possible take down some of the roofing of these outbuildings to create a much larger open and private courtyard garden.

This house is a fairly recent conversion and has therefore been fully modernised and insulated. Located in the heart of a small yet active market town, most facilities are close by including bar, restaurant, chemist and supermarket.
