Ria Formosa: There are lots of boat trips available to explore the lagoons and sandbanks of the Area. Around Conceicao you can see the old round houses, used nowadays to keep animal feed in. Also in Cumeada and Monte da Estrada there are examples of the windmills that once used to dot the Algarve countryside.

There are a number of churches in the area to visit, Capela Nossa Senhora do Mar, Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Luz to name but a few.
