The village is located near the town of Svilengrad on the south-east mountainside of the Rhodopes. It is situated 5 km away from the border with Greece and 20 km – from the border with Turkey. It takes a 2 or 3-hour drive to Istanbul and Alexandropulu.
The settlement is with ancient Thracian origin. There is a well preserved Thracian tomb of the IV th century B.C. and a Roman fortress with a panoramic view to Greece and Turkey.
The house is an old two-storey building with total area of 140 sq.m. It was built with wooden beams, the floors and ceilings are wooden. There is a large room on the first floor, and a separate room with a door leading to the cellar and to the building with the bathroom and the toilet. An interior wooden staircase leads to the second floor. There are three rooms and a terrace on the second floor.
The yard is 1200 sq. m. Next to the house, there is another old house, which is to be demolished. There is also an old farm building, and a working well with cold water in the yard.
The property is with electricity, running water and sewerage. The street in front of the house is asphalted.
