Payment Terms The exceptionally attractive payment terms make buying one of these properties about as pain free as it can be.
When you reserve a property you pay a �1,000 reservation fee.
30% is due within 45 days. This can be funded via a mortgage which the developer will assist in obtaining. The developer will pay the interest payments on this mortgage until completion - the developer reasons that they would be paying interest if they were to raise the finance through a bank, so they pay your interest instead.
On completion, the developer will assist in obtaining a mortgage for the 70% balance.
Offsetting your costs, you have ten percent per annum rental income which is guaranteed for two years initially and from year three onwards, you and the resort share 50:50 the net room rate income... forever more.
The income generated should cover your monthly mortgage repayments and, of course, you have an appreciating freehold asset, too.
