The grounds are very well maintained and landscaped with flowers, shrubs and trees, including many fruit trees. There are some Maya mounds on the property and coming across some ancient pottery chards on the ground, is not unusual. The property is in a valley and there are some nice hills around, including one large hill that is on the property.

The property is reached via a good, all-weather road and is only four miles from the Western Highway. The drive is extremely pleasant passing jungle and citrus orchards with nice views of the distant mountains. The owner constantly praises the neighbours who she says are very friendly and helpful. The only mainland golf course in Belize is only about three miles from the property. Belmopan, the capital of Belize, is approximately seven miles from the property.

This property has not been used as a resort for some years but could very easily be refurbished and put back into use as such. Also, it’s size, quiet and hidden location, would make it an ideal venue as a retreat for a mission group or other organisation. Alternately, of course, it could be left as it is as a private estate for somebody preferring space and solitude.
