Restaurants with traditional local dishes, such as the delicious Sardinian suckling pig, wild boar and hare, home made pastas and wonderful handmade `dolci', there are many local festivals, to which all are invited, the Sardinians are known for their warm hospitality.
This property or 2 properties, one of which has just been completely renovated, and the other which is in need of complete restoration, could be suitable for 2 families, to buy together, then divide as they think fit. The island in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea, is about the size of Wales, with a population of around 1.5 million, it is a natural paradise, and above all in Sardinia you will find tranquillity. With its miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside, it remains one of the few beautiful "undiscovered" holiday islands left in Europe and only 2 hours from the U.K.
Sardinia is now well served by airlines and one can easily take a ferry to Corsica, the Italian mainland and Africa, so is a good base for travelling.
