The property is situated in the Comune of Manciano, to be more precise in S. There are still some remnants from the past to be found such as a tomb dating from the Etruscan Roman period and the ruins of a Francescan monastery. S. Martino sul Fiora stands proudly upon the hill at a height of 450 metres and enjoys wonderful panoramic views on all horizons, arguably the most beautiful being the view of Maremma. With only one glance you can see from the woodlands of Amiata all across to the shores of Civitavecchia and Montalto di Castro; and by looking towards the west you can see Porto S.
