A beautiful island with 19.332,00 m2, located near to the outfall of Paraguacu river, where the nature shows itself more exuberant. The acess can be done by the sea, leaving from Salvador, and it takes around 3 hours by schooner or 1 hour by boat or can de done by land and it takes around 1 hour, through the city of Maragojipe, 140 km far from Salvador. The island has its water supply through tanks that capture water rain. The electrical energy is provided by a generator of 7,5 KVA, but it is already being installed the power network from COELBA ( local company of electrical energy). The island has a pomar with fruit trees that provide some delicious fruits as mango, coconut, guava, lime and other local fruits. The island has the following infrastructure:
