*** WHY WOOD HOUSE ?

1) The weight and carrying power of wood is higher than concrete and steel. With wood, expansions (area between carriers) can be extended up to 250 meters without the use of columns. With these features, wood is the most resistant building material against earthquake.

2) Wooden constructions are resistant to fire for a longer period due to their heat inpermeability and coalification features. This period is between 30-90 minutes, being 4 times greater than the duration for steel constructions.

3) With their high heat and humidity isolation, wooden constructions provide the most healthy living environment. Concrete buildings on the other hand, produce toxic radon gas.

4) Wood is a construction material with the least amount of energy needed for its production and processing. Contrary to generally known, the usage of wood does not lead to deforestation but to more consciousness about forest life.

** How much will it cost?

Because 75% of our buildings are built to bespoke customer dimensions, a price list is difficult to quantify, although obviously, the cost of your building will vary according to it's size and the *log profile used.

It goes without saying that a quality product carries a premium in comparison to an inferior one, but we will always provide you with the most competitive quote possible, and because we own the manufacturing plant we are able to maintain a sensible pricing structure, whilst offering our customers the best timber buildings on the Turkish market.

In addition, we pride ourselves on quoting you with no hidden extras. So if we quote the 'built' cost, that's exactly what it is, i.e. the base, the building, double glazing, a proper roof, guttering, window and door fittings, protective wood coatings, and all labour and sundries required to complete the job!

* It is our policy to use logs no smaller than 94mm thick - that's almost 4 inches!



** How long will it take for my building to complete?

Between 4 to 6 weeks for planning and permission together with order and initial deposit, and there will be another 12 weeks for complishing the work and installing the house in plot - although this may be slightly longer for larger buildings such as houses.



** Who will construct my building?

Our team of experienced timber builders have built lodges all over Fethiye region… and beyond! They have experience with buildings both large and small, and apply the same diligence and traditional building techniques to all.
