Humber Valley is an area of outstanding Beauty with great potential to develop a year round vacation destination.

The Main Humber Valley resort has spent much of the last few years promoting the area and developing its luxury resort reputation.

In September 2008, The Management of Humber Valley Resort put the company under the protection of the Canadian Government (CCCA) effectively shutting down the business and bringing in the adminstrators.

In December 08, after much work and attempts by the management to effect compromise, the management were forced to file for Bankruptcy.

It is hoped a buyer for the resort will be found and operations for the golf, hotel and restaurants will resume next year.

Oyster International do not and have never recommended Humber Valley Resort as an investment property.

However, there are other property investment opportunities in the Valley, specifically at Marble Mountain Ski Resort, which offer a good return on investment and capital appreciation should be realised in the future.
