“L’antico Contado di Meana” is a farm estate rising on the remains of an ancient country hamlet in the municipality of Allerona, 580 m above sea level.
Surrounded by the charming typical landscape of the “Crete”, with its fantastic views, the estate is located near Fabro and Orvieto, at the meeting point of Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. The A1 highway exit of Fabro is at less than 10 km away, reachable through a partially gravelled and partially tarmac road, gently winding on the hillsides.
This farm estate measures 58 Hectares, with woods, prays, sheep breeding, cereals and an orchard. It borders with the natural Park of Rufeno and with the Natural Park Selva di Meana (600 Ha of natural reserves); there is therefore the opportunity to go on excursions on foot, on horseback or by bike, in a wonderful landscape of untouched beauty.
In the nearby there’s the Tuscan village of San Casciano dei Bagni, very well known for its thermal springs (10 km) and spas, and the nice towns of Allerona, Orvieto , Città della Pieve.

The property is composed by several buildings gathered together for a total surface of 1500 sq m. The restoration of each building has been carried out by a professional of this sector, with the greatest respect for local traditions.
Very modern materials and new solutions have been used in order to insulate the roof and walls and for the internal design.
The main building, the oldest one, is on 2 levels, for a total surface of 485 sq m.
