Situated in the quiet residential enclave of Podgorze, to the South of the River Wisla, Krakusa 1 is a listed building constructed in 1867. Bought by the developer from the city in 2004 as a ruin, it is now being lovingly restored and refurbished throughout and, when work is complete, it will once again take its place as one of Podgorze's distinctive landmark properties.

Krakow is listed as one of the world's twelve most precious historic monuments in the UNESCO list.
