The outside is all low maintenance, from the outside wall which is made from local stone to the garden with its matching stone path. You will be able to pick your own giant lemons and mandarin oranges and in the summer you will be able to pick a Turkish fruit called yeni dunya a very sweet fruit that is not available in the UK. We also had installed plastic curtains to enclose the terrace for wintertime time so that you can still sit and eat outside but in nice warm surroundings. In the summer they roll up to allow the welcome summer breezes. The terrace was made extra big, it measures approx. 11m x 3.5m, so that there was room for a dining area and a seating area and space for children to play in the middle. There is a watering system installed in the garden so that you can relax while the garden is watered for you. Through door at the dining end there is a kitchen sink and storage area. The hand made front doors are made from seasoned Siberian pine, we are told this is one of the ! stronger woods available. For added security we have had security grills installed so that, should you need to go back to the UK, then your possessions will be safe for your return.

Going through the front doors you come to the open plan living area with kitchen lounge and dining areas. The high ceilings are all new wood replaced in the old style. This allows for a lot more cooler air in the summer. The kitchen units were hand made by one of the finest carpenters in the area, his work is always to the highest standard. There are plenty of over and under worktop sockets with large medium and small cupboards and drawers. The lounge also has enough sockets with the addition of TV & phone sockets. The lounge area also has an air condi! tioning unit fitted this allows for cooling in the summer and heating in the winter.

An air con unit is fitted to this bedroom but we only need it on the hottest nights. This unit will also heat the bedroom in the winter. Back into the hall and on the right is the bathroom with a full size bath and shower over. There is also an electric towel rail fitted this also acts as a bathroom heater in the winter. Then back into the hall and into the 2nd bedroom. This room is also a large double bedroom. Both bedrooms have high wooden ceilings and stay really cool through all but the hottest nights.

The beautiful town of Koycegiz is situated at the landward end of lake Koycegiz an has boats going, daily to the thermal mud baths at Sultaniye and Turtle beach.
