The town, Nikiti, is on the delightful peninsula of Sithonia and has the atmosphere of a traditional fishing village with typical old stone houses, wine summerhouses, small traditional streets near the harbor of *Paralia*, where there is a long sandy beach with a promenade and the numerous fish taverns.
