The house is situated in the village near Gabrovo, very close to the architecture reserve of Bozhentsi. The village is situated 10km to the east of the town of Gabrovo, in the middle of the road connecting Gabrovo and the ethnographical complex of Bozhentsi. The village represents the administrative centre of a municipality of several villages, including Bozhentsi. The village is crossed by a small river, named Bozhana that separates it in two parts. Tourists are usually accommodated in a three-star hotel complex, named Fenerite (The Lanterns) that is built in a typical Bulgarian Renaissance style but has modern tourist facilities.
