From the north end of the reserve you can walk a short distance across the famous Flamingo Lakes to the beach and enjoy a quiet Margarita looking out over sunlit waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Flamingo Lakes lies on the Gulf Coast in SE Mexico close to the colonial city of Merida, capital of the State of Yucatan. Flamingo Lakes is situated just a few miles inland from the coast close to the small town of Dzemul, a typical Mexican settlement with a few local shops, businesses, cantinas and a town square.

To the north of the Resort, beyond the shallow salt lakes, home to thousands of flamingo in season, mile upon mile of virgin white sandy beaches stretch into the warm emerald waters of the Gulf.

The resort will have its own five star-rated Guest Lodge. A spa will be housed in the Lodge along with restaurants and pools. The Spa facilities including Jacuzzi, steam, sauna, Roman baths, massage, beauty therapy, etc. These will all be accessible to residents and their guests.

The Country Club membership encompasses the Beach Club, all the sports, leisure and recreation facilities on the Resort including the horse riding and the beautiful Nature Reserve. A stunning clubhouse will be the social heart of the Resort and will complement the 18 hole Parkland Course and the 9 hole Executive Course, both designed by John Jacobs Designs. John Jacobs Designs is a very experienced and highly reputable UK company. The course will be constructed and maintained to the highest standards. Full practice facilities will be available including a teaching academy.
