The Property

Also off this room is the newly fitted split level kitchen, which has tiled floors and interesting wooden cross beams. A second staircase from the kitchen leads to a pantry area as well as a raised cantina. The stairs then descend to the ground floor and the separate exit.

Locality The village of Stia is a few minutes walk. It has has two restaurants, several piazzas with a number of shops. Close by is the local town of Poppi with an historic hill top castle and there are a number of highly recommended restaurants and shops. The Casentino is the large valley to the east of Florence and is largely unspoilt and very rural.

Of particular interest is the Stia Castle park just a couple of minutes walk from the front door of the property, as well as comune (council) owned tennis courts a five minute walk and a waterfall, public swimming area, volley ball court and picnic area in the river Arno about a ten minute walk from the front door.

Skiing About a twenty minute drive is the ski resort of Burraia.
