Look down upon the Shenandoah River where there is located more Indian sites and burial mounds than anywhere in the Shenandoah Valley. To your right by the river is the location of the last Indian massacre in 1764. Shadow Ridge is located on the trail the Indians used to carry their captive back across the mountain.

This cozy 1 bedroom, expanded A-frame has been completely remodeled for your special trip. A gas log fireplace to watch and dream those dreams. All modern appliances, color TV/VCR and phone. Complimentary champagne will be chilled and awaiting your arrival.

Your special pet can enjoy our wooded 10 acres and is allowed to bring humans as long as they keep an eye on you. Telescope in cabin for viewing but don’t forget to bring your camera. If there is a storm in the valley below you may see the most incredible rainbow you’ve ever seen.

Bring your own towels and sheets, everything else provided, including album with local sites and menus. Local history books give references so your location will mean more to you.

Easy to get to, only 10 minutes to Luray and near hiking, skiing horseback riding, fishing, tubing and canoeing. Ask about our scenic “Top of the Mountain Hike.”
