Rustic River Cabin is a historic cabin featuring 2 stone wood burning fireplaces! There is also a first class outdoor 7 person hot tub over looking the Shenandoah River with an outstanding view of Kennedy’s Peak. It was built between 1910 and 1930.

The kitchen has new hard wood floors and new wooden cabinets and is a fully equipped kitchen including a wonderful stone wood burning fireplace for those intimate dinners or cozy breakfasts.

This one bedroom features a queen size bed with another fabulous stone wood burning fireplace. It has 1 small bath with all amenities. The living room is all glass and is slightly situated over the Shenandoah River.

If you like the river, this cabin is literally on the river with a views, views, and views. This cabin is beautifully decorated with antiques and stained glass. The hot tub in situated on a large 30X40 sq. ft. deck that is designed with a mature tree growing up through the middle which holds the night lanterns. The steps down to the river make the river very accessible. The deck also features a newly constructed privacy fence and gate that is divine and totally unique with “old world” hinges and door latches.

You have the view of 4 or 5 different sets of small rapids on the river. Firewood is provided for the fireplaces and kept dry in a accessible wood shed right off of the deck. Rustic River is designed for "couples only" and is the perfect honeymoon getaway with fabulous views by day and star gazing from the hot tub at night.

Rustic River is just outside the town of Luray and is centrally located to all activities, i.e. Skyline Drive hiking, Luray Caverns, Canoeing, Horseback riding, and much more.
