    Ski slopes in breathtaking surroundings: In collaboration with local government authorities, the developers are developing an all year round four star resort in the French Pyrenees: Les Verts Sapins. The resort will be designed to be in harmony with the natural environment. This resort will be located in the village of Eyne, situated directly on the ski slopes and a nature reserve in the immediate surroundings. Les Verts Sapins is a high-quality home base for winter sports, nature and golf tourism.

    Location: Delightful in summer and winter:

    The Pyrenees, the mountain chain between France and Spain, is primarily known for its rugged nature and breathtaking views. However, there are also numerous options and facilities for participating in winter sports. In the summer, hiking, mountaineering, caving, mountain biking, fi shing, canoeing, windsurfing, kayaking and rafting are activities high on many people’s list of favourites. For the golfers there are many different challenging golf courses in the region, including several of the most beautiful courses in Europe, just over the border in Spain. Font-Romeu is the place to be in the region. The French Olympic ski team has chosen this excellent location for its training sessions. There are many pleasant restaurants and bars in this village at the edge of a pine forest. Eyne has every tourist facility. Font-Romeu means ‘pilgrim’s fountain’, and was named after the historic pilgrimage chapel in the village which houses a miraculous spring. From Font-Romeu, it is only 90 km to Perpignan and the Mediterranean Sea, 185 km to Toulouse, and 165 km to Barcelona.

    Accessibility

    Les Verts Sapins is very accessible. Travelling by car, the three main options are the roads from Perpignan, Toulouse or Barcelona in the direction of Andorra. From the centre of London, it is approximately 1,270 km or 13 hours by car. The closest airports are those at Perpignan, Gerona, Barcelona, Carcassonne and Toulouse. You can take the train from there to Font-Romeu. A shuttle service will be set up to bring guests to the resort.

    Les Verts Sapins (THE PROJECT)

    Les Verts Sapins is located directly on the ski slopes and consists of 9 apartment buildings with 12 apartments designed to blend in naturally with the surrounding landscape. The resort has a reception and a restaurant. The facilities on the neighbouring resort Résidence Pyrénéal such as shops, entertainment, bar, restaurant, tennis court, gym and swimming pools may be used by the tenants and owners. The management will be carried out by Pierce & Elliott Vacances. All sorts of activities will be organised here. In summer, the swimming pools will be the major attraction. The ski area at the resort will be Modernised and expanded by the municipality in the next few years. The ski slopes will be redesigned and new ski lifts will be built. In addition to the resort, extra facilities will be built as well as a new site for getting on the ski lift. Part of one of the slopes is even expected to run right through this resort!

    Facilities

    You and the tenants will receive a warm welcome at the resort’s central reception. Guests may also obtain tourist information from the reception. The following facilities on the neighbouring resort Résidence Pyrénéal are also available to guests during their stay:

    Apartments

    The exterior of the chalets will feature wooden accents, giving them a look characteristic of and in harmony with their environment. The roofs will be built from slate, just like the roofs of the older farmhouses in this area. The apartments will be equipped with a high-quality furniture package that is specially geared towards this project. The kitchens will also be fully equipped with a cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. In addition, they will be equipped with a complete kitchen inventory including dinner crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc.

    Purchase procedure

    You will receive a reservation contract that you must sign and return. You will then transfer 5% of the purchase price to the secured bank account of the civil-law notary. The notary will then draw up the final deed in due course which you will then sign. You will periodically receive an invoice for the payment of a construction phase at the time a pre-specified phase of construction has been completed. If you are the fi rst owner, the purchase of an apartment in Les Verts Sapins is not subject to additional fees payable by the buyer, so this entails no extra costs for you. You will only be expected to bear the costs related to any mortgage you take out for the purchase.
