We are pleased to offer these special stone weekend houses in the magic village of Kotli near the famous water falls at the source of the Myrna River. They form the two sides of a traditional village street to offer a wonderful old world environment, complete with old style lamps.
These houses have been lovingly restored under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, who have ensured that the exteriors have been rebuilt as they were 200 years ago, as the whole village is registered as a cultural monument.

Inside, there are all modern conveniences, including wall hung toilet, shower, ample power points and underfloor heating. All houses also have a traditional Istrian fireplace in the living room where the traditional Istrian kitchen just needs the appliances. Every house has a small garden. This one has one bedroom.

The village of Kotli is coming alive again! Having been all but abandoned 50yrs ago,there are now an increasing number of houses being restored and lived in. Whether you want to hunt or just enjoy the tranquility of inland Istria, this is an excellent location.

There is a restaurant in the village and another at Hum, 10mins away. Hum is famous in the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest town in the world. A full range of facilities, banks, shops, etc is available in Buzet, 15mins away. The nearest railway station is at Lupoglav, 10mins away.

Access from Zagreb is easy as it is only 15mins from the Ucka Tunnel. Access from Slovenija is also easy via the Buzet border crossing. For those coming from further afield, Kotli is under an hour from Trieste airport (Ryanair all year round) and about an hour from Pula into which Ryanair (Stanstead), FlyGlobespan (Edinburgh), Norwegian Air Shuttle (Oslo), German Wings, Wizzair, Tuifly, Thomsonfly and several Russian operators all fly.
