Many people tend to think that renting an apartment is only worth it when moving
definitely. Otherwise, the best choice should be staying at a hotel room. However,
those people should listen about short-stay apartments. I usually need to move for a
short period of time to the British Capital for business. I live and work in the
countryside, close to Bedfordshire, but at least twice a year I need to travel to
the big city.
Finding apartments in London is not the easiest task to achieve. I mean,
there are plenty of them available, but not always are suitable for the period you
are staying or for your budget. Hotels would seem a better choice then. Many times
they are really comfortable and even luxurious. The thing is that a hotel cannot be
considered a place where you "live", it is just a room where you go to sleep.
Nonetheless, there is one more alternative in London serviced apartments. I found
something that no-one can get anywhere else: space. Apart from that, I was able to
save up to 30% if compare with a hotel. It was cheaper even if I stayed for one night.
It was also convenient because not only I had to visit my clients but also invite them
to a comfortable home-like place. So, I received them, talked about country matters
such as farm animals and the price of our carrots, said good bye, and travel back to
my real home. In two weeks I will have to go back and out of doubt I will rent an
apartment in London.
I am planning to go with my family. I could even get a place
where taking our pet, Rufus, won't be a problem. I have been told that Kensington
apartments are especially fancy, so I will take a look over there firstly. This time,
when I invite my clients to my place, it will look even more as a home. And after the
meeting I will take advantage of the city attractions that we can't usually enjoy here
in the country. And after the theatre, cinema or just a pub we will come back to our
home apartment in London.
