Orilla del Mar is located directly on the beach with beach equipment rentals available nearby. There is a maintenenace fee of $209.00 per month inclusive of everything (Security, maintenance, utilities etc.).

Access to Restaurants, pubs and shopping are only a 5 minute commute by public transportation. Transit is less than a minute walk. Shared taxi or motto (motorcycle taxi) available at the front gate. Or walk the 2 km along the beach in the sand, waves lapping and cool a breeze.

Cabarete Beach, perfect for surfing and diving is 1 mile away. Water sports, horseback riding, jungle safaris and waterfalls are within a 2 hours drive.
Mountain hiking to Pico Duarte (15000 feet+ elevation) is a 4 hours drive.
Two golf courses are nearby, from 15 minute drive.
Sea World is a 45 minute drive. Puerta Plata International Airport is a 20 minute drive.
Internationally renowned Golf at 'Playa Grande' (Pictured) is 45 minutes drive.

American Airlines and Continental are only airlines that have regularly scheduled flights into Puerto Plata International Airport. There are several flights daily. Ask your local Travel Agent if there are any Charter Airline flights available. Charter flights are available from many northern US cities in the winter season.
