    SITUATION

Priestacott is a tiny hamlet near to the small village of Bradford, in the River Torridge Valley in the heart of the peaceful and unspoiled, rolling farmland of mid/north Devon, between the towns of Holsworthy and Hatherleigh, both of which provide a full range of local amenities. Bradford has a school and church, whilst in Shebbear there is a well known private school, shop and pub. There is a pub at Brandis Corner about 2½ miles away. Within easy reach is the spectacular coastline of North Devon and North Cornwall, with its sandy beaches and coastal walks. There are opportunities for trout and salmon fishing in the area on the Rivers Torridge & Taw. Easily accessible to the south is the A30 dual carriageway and Okehampton on the edge of Dartmoor.
